One plays a stunning and powerful witch on The Vampire Diaries and the other strums songs about teen angst and heartbreak. One’s a beautiful, petite fashion wild child and the other is a tall, wispy blonde with a penchant for sparkly dresses. At first glance, edgy singer Kat Graham and country crooner Taylor Swift don’t seem to have much in common aside from the fact they are two very talented Hollywood stars. However, at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards, they debunked that notion by stepping out in  sleek, fierce pant suits! Check it out:

Kat rocked a colorful Jean Paul Gaultier ensemble and leopard bra, and Taylor sported a white J. Mendel pant suit and gold Tom Ford heels. Their love for taking risks definitely paid off on the VMA red carpet and, considering how luscious and divine they looked, we wouldn’t be surprised if their jacket-and-trouser appreciation inspires a major fall fashion trend.
