What’s life like without a weekly dose of Vampire Barbie aka Caroline Forbes? It’s like a day with sunshine. It’s like a pep squad without the pep. It’s like boarding a train only to discover that it’s full of nasty Dementors. (Please pay no mind to our poetic flights of fancy.) Well, if you’re anything like us, you’ve been missing Miss Mystic Falls and all her adorable charm way more than you could have ever imagined. Luckily, the gal behind the Pollyanna of Mystic Falls — Candice Accola — has been coming to the rescue all summer long. First it was with her addicting web series Dating Rules and now it’s with a brand new interview in which she addresses Klaroline’s romantic status and her character’s role in The Vampire Diaries Season 4:

“To Caroline’s knowledge Tyler has died. So now she’s on the run by herself and dealing with the dead of the love of her life. What she doesn’t know is that Klaus has taken over Tyler’s body. And so when she does find, how she finds out, if she finds out — I’m sure it’s going to be quite the conversation.”

“Yes! A lot of questions I have been getting from really excited viewers have been about Klaus and Caroline. They loved the idea of Klaus and Caroline…or Klaroline…or Karolaus. But I keep having to remind them that this guy’s a mass murderer, okay? Not exactly someone you take home to mom. So I don’t know where the writers are going to take it.”
