Claire Holt Kicks Butt at 26th Annual Nautica Malibu Triathlon

As Rebekah Mikaelsen on The Vampire Diaries, Claire Holt is all about gorgeous couture, smokey eyes, and shiny curls. However, the Australian actress is more than just another beautiful face in Hollywood — in fact, she’s pretty much a champion judging by her impressive performance in a recent triathlon race!

On Sunday September 16, the talented star hit the Malibu shore to participate in the 26th Annual Nautica Malibu Triathlon. Not only did she finish the race in an amazing time of 1:44:31, but she actually placed first in terms of celebrity women! (Alison Sweeney completed the race 26 minutes after Claire.) Joining her as well, were fellow Hollywood stars Max Greenfield (of New Girl acclaim), Eric Etebari, Geoff Stults, Rainn Wilson (Dwight from The Office), Parker Young (Suburgatory) and Josh Hopkins (Cougar Town)! Geoff took to twitter afterward to praise Claire on her hardcore athleticism: “Me and the women’s champion yesterday @claireholt. She’s a beast and looks great in her onesie. http://instagr.am/p/Pr1dfDuW3u/.”

Overall, out of all the hundreds of participants, she came in 133th place which is incredible considering how grueling and time-consuming filming television episodes can be! (Seriously, when does the girl find time to sleep?) Still, she’s a natural and talented athlete who not only has a black belt in Tae-Kwon-Do but who used to swim, play volleyball, and compete on her school’s water polo team as well — so it shouldn’t be too much of a shock that Claire Holt can kick butt any given day!
