On Vampire Diaries Season 3 Episode 18, Damon Salvatore proved that not only is he a sexy, bad-ass vampire but, judging by his stake whittling skills, a first-rate carpenter too. Well, as fate would have it, so is the actor who plays him, Ian Somerhalder!

We brought you word earlier this week about Ian’s new eco-friendly venture — a wonderful furniture and home goods store that sells unique pieces made from recycled barnwood. Along with his equally environmentally conscoius brother Bob, the Genesis Award winner opened up shop in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, and shared a first glimpse of his amazing new business with fans.

And boy, do we’ve got some exciting news for you today!  There are now even MORE sizzling pics floating around of Ian at his Built of Barnwood store — and this time they depict him behind-the-scenes (aka the wood shop) using power tools and crafting beautiful pieces of furniture with his bare (manly) hands!
