Guess which Vampire Diaries cast member is steaming up the pages of Glamour magazine this month? Here’s a hint: He’s got raven black hair, the most piercingly blue eyes you’ll ever have stare deep into, and his portrays bad-vamp-turned good Damon Salvatore on TVD — why  Ian Somerhalder of course!

In his new luscious fashion spread, Ian — looking handsome and comfy in a casual  gray tee and dark blue jeans — gets playful with his cute and giggly co-model. (Let’s face it — he was probably making her laugh big-time with his charming and silly antics!)  In one shot, he’s playing cards, in the other he’s smooching a mannequin (HA!), and in another he’s smizing so seductively that the queen of fierce herself — America’s Next Top Model host Tyra Banks — would give him a snap of approval!

The photo spread also featured an interview with the delectable Vampire Diaries actor in which he touched upon everything from being a cat man to flying a date to Paris for lunch to his rapidly growing non-profit organization, the Ian Somerhalder Foundation! Plus, he had some wise words to share with all men out there. Here’s what he had to say about trying to win women’s heart by putting on a “macho” act:

“If you are respectful and nice and charming to a woman, it’s a better approach. And I don’t know what women want. No one knows what women want!”

Is it just us or does everyone else secretly wish Ian would write an advice book or column for guys out there on how to woo the ladies? Not only does he know that the way to a woman’s heart is “food…good food” but also showing her some of R-E-S-P-E-C-T! Kudos to Mister Smolderholder for being able to simultaneously steam up our screens every Thursday night and melt hearts worldwide!
