It’s no secret that Ian Somerhalder is a man of many trades. He not only sizzles as Damon Salvatore on The Vampire Diaries, but he also rallies on behalf of the environment and furry creatures everywhere through his nonprofit organization, the Ian Somerhalder Foundation (ISF). Likewise, he’s not only a male model but he also constructs original pieces of furniture with his bare hands through his ecofriendly venture, Built of Barnwood, which he co-owns with his brother Bob Somerhalder. And just when we figure this TVD stud has done it all, he goes ahead and surprises us all by officiating a wedding!

Seriously, can you imagine Damon Ian — decked out in a crisp tux — showing up to one of your big life events, delivering a touching speech, and then just milling around, sipping on cocktails, and getting down on the dance floor? It’s a dream come true! To be honest, we have no idea how the bride and groom kept it together and manage not to faint at that exact moment. If Ian was saying all these inspirational things while boring his mesmerizing blue eyes into our souls, we surely would have experienced a feverish shock and collapsed right then and there!
