Klaus Mikaelson may be an evil hybrid with a voracious appetite for scheming and killing, but — heaven help us — we’re quite smitten with the crazy bastard. Not only is he a dashing fellow with a love for books and culture but he’s also eloquent and a skilled dancer to boot. Plus, who could ever resist his accent especially he says things like “I fancy you” and “I enjoy you.” Swoonworthy to the max! “I ended up the season dessicated, and evil Alaric was trying to destroy my body to end all vampires. Right? Destroy all the Originals. And he succeeded in opening the coffin that I was dessicated by the spell in and putting a white oak stake through my heart. You saw me kind of burn up but then I played my old trick. In fact, I came into the series in someone else’s body and I left the end of last season in Tyler’s body.”
“I think now it’s going to be all about getting my own body back — I hope it is. Or, [Michael] Trevino’s just going to do my job for me for the next couple of episodes.”

The number one question I get asked is, “Will Klaus and Caroline ever be together?” You know what’s funny is how much influence people think you have on it — like at the end of Season 2 I got all these tweets sort of [pleading] “Please! Whatever you do — you can kill anyone — don’t kill Damon!” It’s like I have a choice in any of it. It’s like, “Okay I’ll try my best not to kill him.”"
