After re-reading about the frightening encounter with Katherine in The Fury, we couldn’t help but think back to this quote from The Struggle. You could say that Katherine and Elena’s battle in The Fury was kind of a cat fight (literally) but when Elena first formally meets Katherine, we thought: Wait, who is supposed to be the “white kitten” here? Katherine certainly wasn’t.
If you can’t recall, Katherine makes her entrance in exactly the way Elena was previously described—as a white tigress … a terrifying white tigress. This might just be ANOTHER example of how in The Vampire Diaries “Nobody is what they seem.” What do you think Katherine is really up to?

I think (In the TV show.) that Katherine is going to play with the Salvatore brothers to distract them while she plans to kill Elena to do away with the competition. Then she’s going to enslave them threatening to kill them if she doesn’t get her way. Then, she’s practically going to tear the town apart as she kills citizens one by one, starting with the Founders’ Council, then friends of the Salvatore brothers and Elena (Even though she’ll be dead.), then the ordinary citizens, then she’s going to plan to end with the Salvatores. But, then, like in the Dark Reunion, Elena’s spirit comesd back and saves the day (A.k.A. Slay Katherine, free the Salvatore brothers, and become human again.).

I honestly think they’d both be level playing fields to who would fight (whether it be for the Salvatores or anyone/thing else) fiercer. While Elena “is no Katherine”, as so many have pointed out in the show, though her fighting qualities aren’t exactly strong because of her open, warm demeanor, she’s a giant fighter when it comes to the people she cares about. On the other hand, Katherine may have all the fierce physical qualities she needs (or has acquired *wink wink*), she’s not one to really care about someone strongly. She’s a player, to put it simply. But I don’t think (from what we’ve seen and/or read about her) that she’d be one to be threatened when someone she knew was in need of saving. So, to wrap it up, I think Elena and Katherine are pretty level–they both have parts of the white kitten AND a snow-white tigress inside them.
i think katherine will kick ass more, but elena has the hearth of the salvatore brothers both of them!
Elena all the way!! in the books Katherine doesn’t get the Salvatore brothers Elena does. So I hope that they at least follow the books outcome when showing what happens in the tv show. That would be bad if Katherine ended up with even kist one of them I just really don’t like her!!! But since they haven’t followed the book like at all then who know what will actual happen in the tv show!!
i know this seems random but the whole thing over twilight coping vampire diaries was so stupid i mean the 2 plots are sooooooooo different for instance…
…twilight… is about a human’s vampire boyfriend and family keeping her safe and away from danger where as…
…vampire diaries…is about 2 vampire brothers fighting for the love of one human girl so…

i was just reading the comments for VD and i have read the comments about twilight and vampire diaries.. well in my opinion i believe they both great stories.. well for one their main story is about love between human and vampire. it is just that in twilight author concentrated to vampire story, strength, how vampire and werewolf can be also great allies and struggle to keep or protect bella from the other vampires who wanted her.. while in VD author did not concentrated in just the whole story in vampire she also put there fighting w/ other forces and added witchcraft in the story and also protect the whole town.. and in twilight bella got her powers when she became a vampire coz at first its only herself who cannot be harm by vampire whose using their powers mentally.. while in VD elena got powers when she got her 3rd life.. my point in here is that both of them are great stories and both are in the same level when it comes to favoritism.. and since their story are far more different from each other [i mean the scene] they can even be consolidated[Twilight of The Vampire Diaries].. i am already thinking of a good story.. hehe.. i haven’t seen the tv series of VD but based on what i’ve heard they are different from what is on the book.. well it will be much appreciated if season 2 will be the same as it is on the book.. imagination is fine but it is super fine if you can also see how it happen.. [JUST SHARING MY OPINION].. *peace*
In the show I think that Elena is the white kitten and Katherine is the snow white tiger but Elena can too be a snow white tiger too when the people she cares about are in danger.I think that in the books that Katherine used to be a white kitten but when the Salvatore brothers began to fight over her so she faked her death and went to Klaus that she became twisted and that made her a snow white tiger and Elena is a snow white tiger with a little bit of a white kitten.
