The Vampire Diaries cast members are all about soul-plunging brooding incurred by life or death situations while filming scenes as their Mystic Falls counterparts but, in reality, they enjoy laughs and lighthearted fun just like the rest of us. And speaking of laughs guess which TVD star recently got her moment  under the sun (quite literally) in the latest “Funny or Die” parody video? Fierce and beautiful jokester, Nina Dobrev, of course! The fang darling went against vamp protocol and hit up the beach for some sunbathing and “lotion music” in the midst of a summer jam heatwave.

Watch as Nina raps about SPF and slathers on sunscreen alongside cutie Nick Braun. (Caution: she gets pretty hardcore and even jumps into a pit of burning flames at one point!)

Clearly, Nina has officially joined her fellow TVD ladies Kat Graham (video here) and Arielle Kebbel (video here) in the “Funny or Die” hall of fame with her hilarious rap video. However, we want to know — which of the three videos takes the crown?
