On Switching Salvatores

"The season one finale was one of the most memorable, for me and everyone I've ever spoken to. And now we're giving the season one finale a run for its money with what's happening at the end of this one. I don't want to give away too much, but Elena has been back and forth between the brothers and she has to make a decision." - Nina Dobrev to Gold Derby

On A Forwood Reunion

"[We’ll] see how the rest of the season plays out, if she is inevitably wooed by [Klaus]. What she really wants is for him to relinquish Tyler’s sire bond to him. That’s her main goal.” - Candice Accola to Entertainment Weekly

On A High Death Toll

"There's a new pseudo-villain coming in... a new threat... but everyone sort of teams up to save each other. I'm going to go as far as to say not one but a few people die in the finale." - Nina Dobrev to Gold Derby
"I won’t reveal if I cried or not… Okay, fine. I totally cried. But in really unexpected moments. It really is so great. I think the viewers are gonna be so happy with it.” - Candice Accola to Entertainment Weekly

On The Hotness That Is Jamie

"We’re gonna get to know Jamie [the young man Abby took in while she was estranged from Bonnie] a little bit better. I can say he’s chopping wood in a very revealing tank top, ladies. So get ready, because those arms are chopping wood like no other.” - Candice Accola to Entertainment Weekly

On Future Hybrid & Barbie Liaisons

"We will see Klaus and Caroline continue to interact as the season drifts on, but I think it’s so funny because he’s an evil, evil guy and everyone is so excited for them to be together just because he’s batting his eyelashes and speaking that British accent all up and down Caroline.” - Candice Accola to Entertainment Weekly

On A Matt Donovan Love Triangle

"I think Caroline has feelings for Matt in a very protective way. At this point, she’s in a full-fledged relationship with Tyler, who used to be his best friend. There’s really not much going back to that. Although it is high school, so it’s a little bit more acceptable.” - Candice Accola to Entertainment Weekly

On Becoming A Mentor

“We’re gonna see Caroline step into the role of the mothering mentor. We’re gonna learn about what happens when a witch does transition into a vampire and what that means and what she loses." - Candice Accola to Entertainment Weekly

Given that the title for the finale is “the departed”, I definitely think we’re in for a doozy!
As far as who will die, I’m suspecting Alaric might be one and maybe Matt. The actor who plays Alaric has been cast in another pilot as well as Daniel Gillies ( please don’t kill Elijah!!!!).
Matt has become more hands on this season, which might be too dangerous for him to survive.
Now, the whole “switching Salvatores”- you got my attention there! Dare I hope that means: DELENA?! OMFG!!! Hell yeah- bring it on!!!!!!!

  2. Arwen1 Said:

I have a bad feeling on switching Salvatores. I don’t know why I think that something will happen with Delena or with Damon. That title “the departed” I don’t know….evreytime Delena has a chance or they become close to eachother something happens….I really really hope that this time won’t happen anything because I really want them together. DELENA FOREVER!!!

  3. Keyra007 Said:

@Susy, wouldn’t it be sad that the only humans of the show died? Well, we still have Jer, Meredith… but I like Alaric and Matt has been in since the start. I think Abbey might die too.

Do you think Meredith may go on in the show next season? I’m thinking if Alaric quits, who’s she going to hang out with? ….Stefan? They should have good chemistry..

@Arwen, we’ve been on Delena’s edge so many times…when it looks like something good is going to happen to them, there’s a sudden twist and everything is messed up, as if Delena could never come true, but it has to happen anytime, maybe next century… but it has to happen. I will be rubbing my eyes when the time comes, I’ll be thinking they’re playing tricks …

  4. Susy Said:

@Keyra007, I wouldn’t like for Matt or Alaric to die, but who else could it be?
Okay, from next week’s episode, we know Damon and the gang have made stakes to kill the originals- somehow, I doubt they’ll be easy to kill. So,logically, I suspect some of the gang will die. Sad but true. Plus, Candace Accola was asked if she cried after the finale- she said yes. The finale will be EPIC!!!
I hope Delena does happen, since Nina hinted Elena will choose one- “the triangle will be blasted open”! I agree with you though- Ver para creer!
@Arwen1, I agree- something always happens right when Damon and Elena are going to get together. It has been soo frustrating, the whole cat-and-mouse chase! I hope nothing terrible happens (Elena & Damon better survive!) and we Delenians get our dream Delena hook-up!!! Then we just have to figure out how to stand/survive the torturous 3 months of summer- until season 4 begins!
P.S., Keyra007, let’s hope Delena happens this century?! Ha ha!!!!
    Delena forever!!!!!
