We love sassy and loyal best friends as much as we adore kickass heroines — so naturally, when Grace Phipps burst onto the scene last year as Skyler Samuel’s witty and fashion-savvy BFF Amy on ABC Family’s The Nine Lives of Chloe King, we immediately took a liking to her. Well, great news for TNLOCK fans everywhere because Grace Phipps has found a home in Mystic Falls! Word on the street is that Grace has been cast as April, Jeremy Gilbert’s childhood friend who returns home from boarding school after the abrupt death of her father. Her character is described as a “natural beauty with a bit of an edge” and she will be making her official debut on The Vampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 2.

Best of all? Grace is no stranger to the vampire and supernatural world! Not only did she star on the myth-filled Chloe King but she also made a noteworthy appearance in the Fright Night reboot, starring Colin Farrell — which was penned by Buffy the Vampire Slayer extraordinaire Marti Noxon. The girl can’t seem to stay away from the fangs!
