How would we describe The Vampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 2 in three words? Harrowing. Heartbreaking. Bloody. A ruthless slayer named Connor dropped by Mystic Falls to wreak havoc. Elena couldn’t stop throwing up all the bunny/Bambi/hospital blood she was given (and ruined her pretty new dress in the process). Most excitingly, a certain beloved character made a surprise appearance that left us haunted…and bawling…long after the episode ended.
And we weren’t the only ones suffering and rampantly using up whole boxes of tissue. It seems that fans worldwide were experiencing some seriously strong emotions — heightened emotions, that is — to the chaotic events that unfolded before their very eyes.
