What do you do when you run the only guy who’s ever been nice to you and his childhood friend straight off the road and into a dark lake below — causing a terrible accident that claims one of their lives? Why, you invite them to your a little shin-dig, advise them to play hooky, and try to make amends of course! (You don’t even need to come bearing fruit baskets and cookies…a simple “sorry, dude” will do.) Well, at least that’s what Rebekah (Claire Holt) plans on doing in the upcoming Vampire Diaries episode, “The Rager.”
While at Mystic Falls high, she confronts Matt (Zach Roerig) at his locker and basically tells him she’d like to be friends again. (Poor, naive Bex. She seems to have trouble grasping the fact that when you try to kill people, they usually don’t want to become your best buddy.) Matt’s not ready to let bygones be bygones though. He’s mad as hell about the Wickery Bridge tragedy and casts Rebekah a terrible look as though to say, “We are never ever getting back together.” (Hmm. Either that or “I loathe you. I run you over with my pickup truck except that I don’t have one anymore because of you. You are the worst. I spit upon the ground you walk on, she-devil!” Basically.)
Don’t believe us? Experience the immense tension (of the non-sexual variety) between Rebekah and Matt in this sneak peek clip from The Vampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 3:
Rebekah: “Hey, Matt! So I’m having a little party. You should ditch last period and come. Look, I know you’re still angry I ran you off the bridge, but you have to understand — Alaric killed my brother. He was trying to kill me. I had to do SOMETHING to stop him. I never wanted to hurt you.”
Matt, seething with resentment and betrayal, just glares at her while she rambles on and on conjuring up excuses. Then, without warning, he slams his locker and walks away.
So tell us, gentle viewers: Do you think Matt is overreacting? Does Rebekah deserve a second chance at a friendship with him? (And, is it just us, or is Matt looking more delicious than ever?)

Matt is right about being mad at her, she is responsible for the transition of Elena, she also tryied to kill him and it’s her fault if he fells guilty. She has to get that she can’t erase what she has done with a party, it’s more complicated.
P.S : Oh yeah! Matt is so cute and he’s is getting sexier than ever!
Rebekah is responsible for killing Elena that’s why Matt is angry at her
