Spoiler Alert: Please do not read any further about The Vampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 4 if you do not wish to know any details ahead of time.
The fourth season of The Vampire Diaries is already off to an jaw-dropping start — what with Pastor Young’s fiery end and Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev) becoming a vampire. And the drama doesn’t just end there. There’s crazy vamp sex, romantic motorcycle rides, and church showdowns to look forward to. However, the fun will really start cranking in episode 4 (titled “The Five”), during which Elena and her BFF Bonnie Bennett (Kat Graham) road trip it with Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder) for a gory costume party at a frat house at Whitmore College — and during which Damon teaches Elena a lesson or two in choosing a victim to feed on. (Whoa. How Criminal Minds of him!)
To add to the excitement, viewers will finally get to meet Professor Shane (David Alpay) and hurtle back in time to 12th Century Italy to learn more about the Original family. Best of all? A secret about Rebekah (who will spend the evening trying to win back Matt Donovan’s affection) will be revealed that’s so harrowing, it will leave poor Stefan (Paul Wesley) shocked beyond belief.
