Jeremy Gilbert and Bonnie Bennett have not been a couple for some time now. In fact Bonnie has moved on from her BFF’s ghost-loving and onto a family friend who understands her witchy plight. However, this doesn’t mean that viewers can’t enjoy a spellbinding Beremy moment or two and, in The Vampire Diaries Season 4 premiere episode, the two former lovebirds will come together again to “make magic”…as in perform a spell (as evidenced in the photo above posted exclusively by TV Line).
So what is going on in the candle-lit scene from “Growing Pains” ? We know that Bonnie will do everything in her power to try and find a way to prevent Elena from becoming a vampire. And obviously, as Elena’s brother, Jeremy will totally be on board with that mission. Still, a spell of this magnitude — if it does exist at all – is probably not easy to find and will require a lot of patience and research (Duke scholar and occult aficionado, Professor Shane, could very well help with that.) Nevertheless, we doubt Bonnie will find the rumored spell right away and, with Jer’s help, is most likely creating a daylight ring for Elena. (It’s already been revealed that Stefan will present her with one so that definitely makes sense.)
