With The Vampire Diaries Season 4 premiere less than a month away, viewers are growing anxious about the fate of some of our favorite characters and couples. Luckily, the CW understands the plight of a fang fan and have been dishing out details little by little. And this week’s tidbit is shrouded with mystery because not only does it hint at tension between Elena and Stefan due to her transition into a vampire, but also about Bonnie Bennett’s future! He will be entirely too busy dealing with this situation to even think about locking down Elena. Or, to put it a better way, here is Kat Graham: “I think this is one of our biggest seasons so far. You’re going to see an interesting shift with Elena in the first few episodes,” she tells us. As for her own character? “Bonnie is going to meet somebody who is going to have a huge impact on her future,” Graham teases.
Oh boy. We know that Bonnie will have liaisons (perhaps of the romantic variety) with a college professor (played by Davie Alpay) and that there’s a ruthless new vampire hunter in town. Moreover, there’s Haley (Tyler’s wild and untamed new bestie) and April (Jeremy’s childhood friend who returns to Mystic Falls after her dad passes away) to consider. So which of these new characters will influence the course of Bonnie’s life and probable ascension into uber witch status? Honestly, as of now, it can be anyone but our money’s on the scholar!
