If there’s anything we know for sure in the world of The Vampire Diaries, it’s that flashback episodes are always packed with edge-of-your-seat-entertainment and relevant plot points. So far fans of the series already know that TVD Season 4, Episode 4 will feature flashback scenes from Rebekah’s life in the 1100s as well as her mysterious connection with a charismatic and rugged hunter named Alexander. Well, get excited gentle viewers because, according to a recent update from Zap2It, the show writers are whipping up another journey back in time — and this time it will depict Stefan Salvatore going into battle during World War II. (And, yes, he will be in full uniform!)
We’ve already seen the Salvatore brothers during the Prohibition era and during the Civil War years so we know that what we’re going to be witnessing will be: A. Sexy, B. Riveting, and C. Full of heart-stopping drama! Interestingly enough though, not many details have been revealed about Stefan’s upcoming hour in the spotlight. So what will this backstory reveal about Stefan’s past? Which characters will pop up? (Please, let it be Lexi!) And will we see Stefan fighting against the Nazis — or marching right alongside them in full Ripper of Monterey mode? We have so many questions but the answers will reveal themselves soon enough.
