The Vampire Diaries Season 4 Promo Trailer: Special Comic-Con Video

Stefan and Damon Salvatore - The Vampire Diaries Season 4It seems like The Vampire Diaries cast and crew understand the plight of a fang fan all too well — and they empathize with viewers as to what it’s like to suffer through a whole summer without any spankin’ new Salvatore action! What could possibly lead us to make such a bold and confident statement? Because they unveiled a sexy and riveting new promo trailer for The Vampire Diaries Season 4 at San Diego Comic-Con 2012!

We don’t know about you, but we’ve surviving this TVD dry spell by feasting on spoilers (even the itty bitty ones) and multiple teaser trailers created by brilliant fans. However, it’s nice to have some inkling as to what the future holds for Elena Gilbert and her Mystic Falls crew now that’s in transition and about to bust out razor sharp fangs. Well, hold onto your seats, ladies and gentlevamps, because you’re in for a real treat — here’s a glimpse at what issues will arise on Season 4:

Oh my holy Klaus! Sure, this teaser trailer was basically a meticulously edited video full of Season 2 and Season 3 scenes, but that doesn’t make it any less special. In fact, the scenes of Vampire Diaries yesteryear serve a great purpose in hinting as to what Elena’s sentiments will be about becoming a bloodsucking fiend….as well as what crazy shit is going down for everyone else. Bonnie looked totally evil Willow circa Buffy Season 6 in this video and Jeremy looked badass with that bow and arrow. Will he be leaning towards becoming a new slayer and will she go 100% dark? DAMN! Moreover, Caroline and Tyler steamy sex scene from “The Birthday” was included in the montage, and we have a feeling that was included to let us know that big bad Klaus will be getting down with Vampire Barbie just like he’s always dreamed. Plus, there was some awesome new footage — Damon shoving poor Matt against the wall and a smoldering Stefan and Damon stare-down. HELLS TO THE YEA!

    I can’t wait to see the season 4 in october! I’m a bit disappointed because we have seen almost all the images before but i liked Damon when he said “bravo” to his brother even if it was ironical!
