Flashbacks on The Vampire Diaries are always mesmerizing but they’ve never been as titillating as the ones on episode 3.08, “Ordinary People”! In just a few weeks, viewers will be able to journey back in time to when Klaus wasn’t assembling a hybrid army and Rebekah wore long dresses that trailed on the ground. Klaus and Rebekah look utterly devastated in these photos. Joseph Morgan even hinted to TV Fanatic that what happened to the Klaus’s clan was pretty horrific: “Episode eight will really change the game. We’ll learn more about the Mikael/Klaus relationship, see where Klaus’ fear springs from and why it’s so justified.”

God I’m so excited, I think we’ll see the original Betrova and I think she’ll be so close to Klaus, like his fiance or Becky’s best friend.
And I think we’ll know what changed Klaus, we saw him in the last season telling Elijah ” love is the vampire’s weakness “. So I’m sure something happend that changed him and I hope we know what is it in this episode.

Okay this is beast. like seriously. Micheal kinda scared me when he made Kathrine lunch. I don’t even want to imagine what he did to their clan. BUT something they’re not including in this is were is Elijah this whole time. (i know he is in the coffin with a stake in his heart i mean back during this time) That’s someone we haven’t seen for a while. And im really counting down the days when the intro Original Witch THE Original vampire mummy and daddy. THE Original Vampire. Plus i’m pondering if the’re gonna intro Meredith at all. In the book she is a hunter-slayer but is friends with Stefan and Damon. Also, a nice twist would be to introduce Shinichi and Miaso (They are twin Fox-spirits called Kitsune) They introduced Klaus and he was in the book maybe they will do the same for Shinichi and Miaso.

For whomever asked regarding the last episode, Katherine freed Michael from the chains and he was feeding on her in the last scene between the two. After he told her that he did not feed on human blood..GROSS!! Love this season
I also wanted to say that I don’t see Rebecca as the first doppleganger.
I definitely think we’re going to find out what sparked that craziness in Klaus. I’m thinking maybe Mikael and the original doppelganger were a couple- until she met Klaus and Elijah. She probably played with both brothers- like Kat did with Stefan and Damon. Then, Mikael swore vengeance when Klaus killed her while trying to break the curse. I know it is farfetched, but who knows? I hope we get some answers to who Mikael really is! OMG! I CANNOT WAIT- I’m loving the flashbacks!

on the first pic u can see vervain next to the tree so that probs where vervain started out and i think mikael is probs the original father (vampire) and i think we get to meet the first werewolf clan on this episode, can’t wait for this episode

@aaclass u can’t be born a vampire becuz vampires can’t procreate however back then it may have different. the rules may have changed over the years as to how you become a vampire ??? you never know

in the second picture rebekah is holding her hand now this is just a though but maybe she might have burnt her hand on the vervain coz if they’re the originals then they would’ve had to discover things such as vervain, wolfsbane, compulsion. wood, silver, werewolves, lapis lazuli and over the course of years they’re bodies got used to all of that stuff making them invincible. and if there is the original petrova doppelganger then wouldn’t nina have to play her coz the doppelgangers all look alike??? three strikes not bad

i think klaus knew about the affair his mother had and when his father found out he obviously tracked the werewolf down and killed him and i’m thinking that what klaus and rebekah are looking at is his dead father ??? and maybe his father lashes out at klaus or vice versa.
I CAN”T WAIT TO SEE THIS EPISODE!! Finally we get into the originals chapter, and ordinary people is the first episode in the originals chapter. I can’t wait to find out more about Klaus and the original family!!!! I Can’t Wait to find out what life was like for Klaus… shall I say Niklaus and The Original Family before they were turned into vampires and before Niklaus world got turned upside, and the curse got placed on him.Also can’t wait to be introduced to the original matriarch herself (Esther), and can’t wait to see how mikael origns come in to play with the original family. And how he knows Niklaus and Rebekah… Maybe Mikael is the original father as in Elijah and Rebekah’s Father!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes!!! This is what I have been hoping for in season three. I’m dying to learn more about the orginals. Now maybe Nina will get to play a third role as the original doppleganger. She has got to be the best actress on TV. If she comes back as a ghost, imagine her, Kat and Elana in the same scene.
Anyway, from clues in episodes where Elijah flashed back, I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that I think she–the original doppleganger– was involved with him. It was her, Elijah and the witch who put the curse on Klaus.
OMG im so excited, there are a lot of misteries, what about all of the ghost?, mason lockwood? bonnies grand ma? lexi? i mean wth? and is katherine death?, i love stefans new attitude, but still prefering damon, barbie klauss is trying to have carolines life, i just dont know what would i do if katherine is death, i love her so much, im afraid of mickel
I don’t believe Mikael’s the father I think Klaus must have turned Mikael into a Vampire after toying with him etc, and Mikael probably hating Vampires just as much as John would have sworn to himself to kill Klaus no matter what, Mikael obviously hates vampires as he drinks from them and refuses to drink human blood or animal, I think there’a a twist with Mikael though why else would Klaus be scared of him, ooooh he could be a Vampire witch! Another hybrid! Whatever he is it isn’t plain vampire.
Tonight’s episode and next weeks episode is going to be full of information! From Klaus to Mikael, barbie vamp, Caroline and Tyler, Stefan, Damon and Elena, Katherine’s possible death, Elijah, the original doppleganger, the originals early lives. How they are going to cover all this in two episodes is beyond me but I guess we will just have to wait and see. What is up with all the ghosts? I mean really? First its bitch Vicky, then its Anna, now Mason! What’s next? Has anyone thought that since everybody is coming back as a ghost, maybe in one of these episodes we will see Jenna??? But who will be able to see her? Barbie vamp Rebekah is getting very annoying. Seriously, live your own life. Don’t try to live Carolines because your jealous! That’s just it. She’s jealous because shes not the highlight of everyones life anymore. Is Katherine dead?! I don’t believe so. She’s too much of an aspect to the show. But who is Mikael going to kill next??? And I’m wondering how long Stefan’s actually going to be locked up! They aren’t going to let him out until the compulsion is broken but how long is that going to be? How long is it going to take Mikael to kill Klaus? Not too sure on that but still, can’t wait for tonight! Rock on TVD!!!!!!!!
No Katherine is not dead. She is just all dried up. This is assuming that all Mikael did was drain her blood.
As far as we know there are only a few ways to kill a regular vamp.
#1. A wooden stake thru the heart.
#2. Knock their head off — Like Elijad did to Trever, poor guy
#3. Sunlight, if they don’t have a daylight ring, braclet or necklace.
#4. Burned with fire.
#5. Werewolf bite
Mikeal Made a witch to make him a vampire hunter and immortal. So apparently mikeal can’t be killed thats why Klaus is runing away from him.

Hey u can be born a vampire. You have to be an Original though you can’t just have two random vamps get together and produce a Super-vamp-kid Klaus, Rebekah, Elijah, and so on all are brothers and sisters right? Well i don’t think they’re gonna go twilight on us and say Klaus’s ‘Dad’ adopted them all and made them vampires. Ummm no this is Vampire Diaries. Klaus has a mum and dad and many brothers and sisters so you can be born a vampire i guess
if u remember elijah said nothing is truly immortal so mikael is the way to kill klaus meaning that not even hybrids are immortal

anyone noticed that rebekah is not wearing her necklace? so maybe that’s what she is holding in her hands. i wanna know more about that necklace! just saying ! I love the vampire diaries ! cant wait ! I have to wait ’till friday! Because i live in holland and they diddn’t even start season 2 yet! so im following it online !
