As usual, a lot went down in Mystic Falls tonight — death threats, coffin hiding, and unconventional medical treatments. (Just run-of-mill stuff of course!) However, If there’s anything to be said about “The Ties That Bind,” it’s that this ep was all about family. From Bonnie and Abby’s mother-daughter reunion to Stefan and Damon fighting (yes, again) to Bill Forbes returning to recondition Tyler (for Caroline’s sake), the night was positively bursting with familial returns.
Oh and speaking about returns….

ELIJAH IS BACK FROM THE DEAD AND HE MEANS BUSINESS, Y’ALL! Turns out that Damon is a lot smarter than his buddies give him credit for. Although he allowed Klaus to reclaim three of the four coffins, Damon managed to hide the most important one (otherwise known as The Mystery Coffin That Doesn’t Open). Moreover, because he’s just full of fun surprises, Mr. Crows-Are-My-Best-Friends Salvatore “undaggered” Elijah.
And the look of astonishment on Klaus’ face (which quickly replaced his smug Alpha Dog victory glow) when Elijah plunged into his hybrid wing-man’s chest and tore out his fast-beating heart…well, that was pretty much the highlight of the evening. So, overall, this week’s TVD Scene Stealer award goes to Elijah for his impeccable timing and extraordinary flair for the dramatic. Well played, sir!

I’m soo happy Elijah’s back! Nothing screams “brotherly love” like ripping a hybrid’s heart out- and then saying, “fill me in on what I’ve missed”! The whole episode rocked! The shocker moment was Elena and Bonnie talking about the kiss- Bonnie seemed okay with it! WTH? I thought she would at least be shocked! I’m not buying that Meredith is using vampire blood to “save” dying patients. She is hiding something else. Besides, she lost major points in my book- how dare she vervain and blood-jack Damon! THAT’S A NO-NO!
Elena telling Stefan She kissed Damon?! WTF is wrong with her?! What does she expect this confession to change? Is she still hoping to get back with Stefan after all he has done?! She needs to get her head examined.First of all, Stefan didn’t even flinch when she told him- yet he goes home and punches Damon! I can’t wait to see what happens next! TVD RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!
I found this last episode a bit boring… Susy don’t get mad at Elena. She just didn’t tell Stefan that she had kissed Damon, she also said she didn’t feel guilty! That’s an important remark. Stefan, one way or the other was gonna find out about that kiss, so Elena took advantage of the situation and told him. I liked when Stefan said she was stronger and tougher. Many things have actually changed….
Now Stefan knows Damon and Elena are not just flirting, what’s going on between them is more important, otherwise Elena would not have told him anything, would she?
I’m glad Elijah is back but I’m also a bit scared because I don’t trust him. He already betrayed them in the last minute, so we’ll see whose side he’s on.
I heard about a break in TVD. Is it going to be a break next week?

As far as Elena goes, I’m not mad at her. I just don’t understand her timing- in the middle of the chaos caused by Klaus’s hybrids, she wants to confess SHE kissed Damon?! Damon kissed her and she liked it- she admitted not feeling any guilt! Yes, that is significant- it shows that this is different, it is not just a fling. Still, her timing was way off!
As for Elijah, I think things will be different. Remember, Elijah was manipulated by Klaus telling him he’d never see his family again. Now, Elijah knows he can’t trust Klaus and that Klaus has kept his siblings entombed all this time. Someone suggested that maybe Damon “undaggered” all the siblings- Klaus might have empty coffins and not know it yet. Can you imagine that? Klaus confronted by ALL of them at once?! OMG- ALL HELL WILL BREAK LOOSE!!!!!!!! Only time will tell if Elijah can be trusted! We’ll just have to wait and see!

ok, She wants Stefan to know about the kiss, maybe because she can’t wait to kiss Damon again and doesn’t want Stefan to go nuts if he, anytime, sees them?
The coffins empty.. it’s a good theory, I can’t imagine Klaus face when he finds out. What “nice things” could all the originals do, once they’re set free?? mayhem ahead in MF!
@Keyra007, I wish you were right- that Elena can’t wait to kiss Damon again. But I honestly think that Elena felt deceitful towards Stefan and that’s why she confessed. If you don’t feel guilty about something, why would you confess it in the first place? After everything Stefan has said/done to Elena, what she does and who she does it with should not be Stefan’s business anymore. Yes, Damon is his brother, but he Stefan chose revenge over Elena’s love. So now, Elena has a right to move on and Stefan should just deal with it!
I don’t even know what to say about that episode, first of all, I love the way Tyler was trying to get ride of his sire bond to be with Caroline, so cute, but i really hope he stays with it and doesn’t give up. THE STEFAN AND ELENA moment was so cute, I know some will disagree but i love those two together and i loved the way Stefan punched Damon for kissing Elena. I also was so shocked when Elijah came back, Brownie points for Damon for doing that
About the whole Bonnie mom situation, i really hope they find a way to kill Klaus, but when Damon hid that fourth chamber, some smart thinking, lol AMAZING episode, there were so many unexpected twists and turns, i was left SHOCKED
@Susy you’re right but Elena knows Stefan is not the good old Stefan anymore. He’s looking for revenge, he’s resentful and he’s more dangerous right now. I think Elena sort of protected Damon since she made it clear that she didn’t feel guilty, that’s why Stefan not even didn’t know how to react, he was shocked. If Elena had not told him about the kiss and Stefan had found it out. Can you imagine his reaction? He had confronted Damon in not a friendly way, precisely. Damon took a punch from him and that’s it. Now Damon and Elena should feel more free to actually move on.

i loved this episode! it was so awesome!” i loved stefan and Elena’s scene i’ve been waiting for that for a long time! i like how he said that he was sorry and he pushed it to far” i loved it and i like how he acted when she told him she kissed damon it all shows that he still cares about her and loves her, hes not as gone as they think” and i like the part where he punched Damon haha.hes so cute=) lol. but yes the best scene was Elijah came back and Klaus looked like o crap!!!!!!!!” haha.i just hope Elijah is not dumb again and fall for Elijah’s crap! cant wait for the next episode! i hate that its on break =/. but omg i love it!” haha

BTW: I totally liked how happy and pleased looked Damon first when he meets Alaric( you can see he smiles!:x) and then when he realise that Elena might told Stefan that they kissed.
@Keyra007 totally agree with you: Elena has deep feelings for Damon and she can’t hide this anymore that’s why she told Stefan but I don’t think she felt guilty.
@Arwen, voted! Glee 52% Delena 48% please keep voting Delena fans! Elena told Stefan she didn’t feel guilty. It means that she actually liked it and has feelings for Damon.

@Arwen1 and @Keyra007, I agree with you! Elena liked that kiss and she cannot deny it! Did you see the smirk she gave Bonnie, confirming the kiss was good? I just don’t get the point of telling Stefan- it is none of his business at this point! But it doesn’t matter anyway, as long as we get more Delenalicious smooches throughout the season! Ah Delena…!

I want to see Elena in love again, smiling and having fun with Damon, no matter who is around them. Go Delena!

Im hoping so badly for a romance between Klaus& Caroline!! Klaus was the sweetest ever by giving that bday present. Oh gosh im like praying for a romance!!!!!!! #teamClaus #teamKlaroline.
Ohh i loved episode 12…..But the whole Elena Damon kiss not too sure about, Damon loves her but she is still in love with Stefon and then thats just a whole Kathrine thing all over again which would be abit predictable then but i think there should be someone for poor Damon…….I was so anti-Klaus at the start but love him but still cagey about him and yeh him and Caroline would make a good story line……As for the coffins oww the excitement to find out who’s in the unopened coffin, maybe something else that can kill claus or maybe the root of the tree cause the tree was burnt but not the root or the witch friend that was friends with his family when b4 they turned to vampires……And what about the werewolves we found out from Rebeka how vampires came about but werewolves were already there???……Oh so excited can’t wait for the rest of series 3 lovin it
@Keyra007, Absolutely agree! I hope Delena comes to be because if not,then there will be two of us wanting a piece of the writers! Delena is so fun to watch- Elena and Damon are always laughing, playing, and teasing each other. They are like an old married couple, who have been married so long- they can read each other’s mind or finish each other’s sentences! So cute!
@Arwen1, I totally agree with you! 2 seasons of Stale-ena (my spelling depicts their staleness as a couple) was more than enough! The couple was going nowhere, just into more boredom! Delena, on the other hand, with only one kiss (there should be more kisses and some forever), has generated more excitement than the whole 2 seasons of Stelena! So,my fellow Delenian, let’s hope the writers give us what we want- DELENA FOREVER…..!!!!!!!

I think these predictions might actually come true and I’m a bit pissed off with the first one, of course… although it’s totally logical. Stefan will try to get in Delena’s way, just because “it’s Damon”, but I wonder, what else did Stefan expect? He left Mistic Falls knowing that his brother was in love with Elena and that he was the one to protect her. Did Stefan think that Elena would be waiting eternally for him, despite the suffering he’s inflicted her? That would be nonsense
Now, like the prediction says, I hope Elena is not that naive and doesn’t let Stefan get what he wants…
@Keyra007, thanks for mentioning another site for us TVD fanatics. Now, I have another page to visit every day. I just read the 5 predictions- I hate #1 too! It seems that the person who wrote the predictions is Pro-Delena like us. Yay! I do love #5- the moniker “Delijah” is perfect for Damon and Elijah! @jgarza and @nazi, I also read that a cousin of Elena will be coming to MF. Her name is Samantha Gilbert- but according to the scoops I’ve read on EW, Eoline, and Tvline, she will not be a love interest for Damon. But she does have her hidden agenda.
