Just like Elena, Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) embarks on a dangerous path in The Amazing Spider-Man as he tries to uncover the truth about his parents’ mysterious disappearance, and as he explores his evolving super powers. Although he uses his newfound abilities to save lives and prevent crime (and of course impress his love interest Gwen Stacey), Peter soon learns that with great power comes enormous responsibility – and that aside from overcoming dark forces, he must battle his own personal demons and temptations as well.
