The Originals Episode #110: Julie Plec & Michael Narducci Preview “The Casket Girls”

Davina Claire in The Originals episode #110: "The Casket Girls"Last time we were in New Orleans, Marcel and Rebekah broke up, Elijah and Klaus made amends (sort of), and Hayley informed Davina that Marcel knew Agnes was dead but hadn’t told her so that he could continue accessing her powers. As a result, sweet and trusting Davina Claire packed her suitcase and fled to Cami’ apartment, and as a housewarming gift, undid Klaus’ compulsion. So what’s next? Well The Originals episode #110 returns tomorrow night (January 14) to The CW and the executives show’s producers, Julie Plec and Michael Narducci have joined forces to give us a glimpse of what’s to come in “The Casket Girls.”

“The first whole chapter of the series is really about Klaus coming back into town, determined to take back power,” Julie points out. “When The Originals returns, Klaus finally is successful and miraculously he’s managed to win Marcel back into his corner, much to Rebekah’s chagrin.” However, according to Julie, Klaus may be in control but The Originals Season 1 Episode 10 is all about “chick power” and viewers will see Rebekah, Hayley, Cami, Davina, and Sophie rising to the occasion and “taking a stand and moving forward in a very strong way to take back the power that they themselves feel like they’ve lost at the hands of characters like Klaus and Marcel.”

Michael also poses an interesting question: “Davina is on the loose. Who’s going to get her? If Davina is in play, does that mean that they can take advantage of that situation and are they going to strike aggressively at the vampire community?”
