SPOILER ALERT: Don’t read this post or the comments until you’ve watched The Vampire Diaries Season 3, Episode 15, “All My Children.”
Witches. Bonfires. Pentagrams made out of salt. Yes, Vampire Diaries Season 3, Episode 15 had it all! The poor residents of Mystic Falls once again found themselves in the center of Original family drama and, although Salvatore brothers managed to come to Elena’s rescue, “All My Children” didn’t really have a so-called happy ending. (No, we’re not referring to Alaric’s cliffhanger face-off with the pretty yet psycho, gun-wielding doctor.) Because you can bet your bottom dollar when Death comes knock knock knocking on your door, he’s definitely going to collect.
So who died this time around? Well, let’s just put it this way: If The Vampire Diaries was The Wizard of Oz, a harrowing chorus of “Ding Dong The Witch is Dead” would have resounded throughout the woods surrounding Mystic Falls. The only difference being, of course, that the witch who perished tonight was not some evil juju conjurer — she was Bonnie’s mom Abby Bennett.
You see, in an anxious attempt to stop Esther’s ritual and save Elena from the Originals, Stefan and Damon devised a plan to sever the Bennett blood line by turning Abby into a vampire. And they succeeded. While Bonnie and Abby sought refuge in the house (where the witches were burned long ago), Stefan appeared out of thin air and distracted Bonnie while Damon force-fed Abby his blood (he needs to quit doing that by the way)…and then almost immediately snapped her neck. Consequently, Esther’s sacrificial ritual to kill her Original children ended abruptly, Abby went into transition, and Bonnie found herself at her mom’s deathbed.

In even more shocking news, when Elena showed up to console Bonnie at the end of the night Bonnie refused to see her. Why? According to Caroline, it’s because Bonnie is the one who constantly has to bear the negative and painful repercussions of saving Elena. (To which we say, a-freaking-men! It’s about time someone said it out loud!)

Definitely Damon snapping Abby’s neck.
My favorite scene was Elijah stomping on the ground, it caves in and Elijah grabs Elena, jumping down.
A close second was when Damon walks Rebekah to the door, opens it- and Elena was there. The look Elena and Damon gave each other- Priceless!
Abby becoming a vampire- totally unexpected!
This time I disagree Susy. No interaction between my favourite characters, so I pick Klaroline scene.. I like them! Also I enjoyed Elijah-Elena scene and Elijah’s letter, always a gentleman, except when he has to be a bloody and ruthless vampire. I hated every Salvatore scene, Stefan playing the saint and Damon underestimating himself, really original Mr. writers!
@Keyra007, Klaus was being so boyishly charming and Caroline so bitchy/feisty- these two really sizzle together!
Elijah always the gentlemen, but always the roguish vampire! I don’t know about you,but I find him so appealing. He reminds me of Damon!
The one scene where the Salvatores are talking about neither one getting Elena- didn’t that sound strange? It was almost as if they were talking about their “property”, not a person! I agree that scene sucked!
