Season 3 of The Vampire Diaries won’t return until January 5th (ahh) but expect big things when it comes back into our lives!
We recently found out that Caroline Forbes will be in the doldrums due to the most depressing coming-of-age experience ever. We also know that Klaus will resume his terrifying and murderous trouble-making schemes in an attempt to enact vegeance on Stefan Salvatore for stealing all those expensive coffins (with Klaus’s siblings in them).
So what’s in store for good ol’ Ripper? Mad crazy twists, that’s what! Julie Plec provided TVLine.com with the following juicy tidbit:
“When the show returns [on Jan. 5], Stefan has been MIA since he stole Klaus’s family coffins, but we’ll learn he’s been busy trying to figure out a way to stay one step ahead of Klaus. When Elena and Damon finally have the opportunity to confront him about his recent actions, his response makes Damon think twice about acting on his feelings for Elena.”
Hot damn! Should we expect another Salvatore showdown or is Elena actually going to “switch” Salvatores and accidentally trigger an intense reaction from Stefan? Who knows — the only thing we can do at this point is predict predict predict. So, leave us your predictions for season 3 of The Vampire Diaries below!
Salvatore showdown!!!! Who would win in a fight between Damon and Stefan? Since Stefan’s been on human blood for like 8 episodes, and Damon’s, well, Damon, it seems like a fairly even match.
Damon of course, will win!

I just think that Damon and Elena are the perfect couple(no ofense to Stefan).If Damon would be with Elena he will be finally happy because evrey girl he falls in love chooses Stefan and is not fair. Damon is acting as a badboy because he suffers for love.Elena loves Damon more than she loves Stefan because even Damon was acting badboy she didn’t gave up on him but she gave up on Stefan.So in the end it would be great to see Damon and Elena.And after 5th January I want to see them together.
In this season i love what is happening to Damon and Elena, they look cutie together. But she still has something for Stefan. I what theme to stay together. But may the best vampire WIN!!!!

Damon and elena need to be together:’(! They have not had enough ”moments” in season 3, cos every time they go to have one stefan comes in the scene:’(! 3 seasons I’ve been waiting for elena to finally admit to damons face how she feeeels,cos its clear what damon wants!!!!!!
Damon and Elena look good together. Stefan and Elena also looked goo together. AHHH! so hard to choose from those two irresistible vampire boys.
I really hope that the TV show divides from the book when it comes to Elena and Damon. I think Damon needs Elena’s love more than Stefan. Stefan can turn it off, but Damon, has lost this ability, I think. I hope that the writers of the show check into this website for ideas as to their story lines. Damon just needs to talk to her, she needs to see how much she has come to rely and love him, and she needs to make the surprising first move. Kiss him Elena!
