The Vampire Diaries fan community seems to split into three groups — those who want to see Damon and Elena get it on, those who want to see Stefan and Elena reconcile, and those who only care about hybrid Klaus.
Well, the first group’s wish just might come true this year! Elena and Stefan have been on shaky ground ever since he turned on that good ol’ fashioned Ripper charm (which for whatever reason she finds repulsing whereas we think it’s kinda hot), and big brother Salvatore (aka Damon) has stepped in as Mystic Fall’s official good-doer vampire.
Elena has definitely taken notice of Damon’s positive transformation, and the two have grown closer this season —even going as far as sharing an intimate conversation in bed. However, will their lips meet at any point during TVD Season 3?
Well, we thought nay because Stefan is allegedly going to make Damon think twice about putting the moves on Elena. According to E! Online though, there will be an epic kiss scene —a kiss scene so good that it made the E! reporter squeal a little.
So which Mystic Falls residents will be puckering up? The use of the word ‘epic’ makes us think it’s going to Damon and Elena since it’s been long-awaited for many fans (and last season’s deathbed kiss was a bit of a letdown since Damon was withering away)…but for all we know it could be Katherine and Klaus or Caroline and Matt! (That’s the beauty of The Vampire Diaries — the series is full of delicious twists!)

Please please please please let it be damon and elena! OMG I will die of happiness if it is! I also heard (from E! Online) that one of your most beloved main characters will be indirectly forced to leave by Damon. It’s on the same site that told us about the epic kiss scene. The rest of Season 3 sounds so exciting! Ew, if Matt and Caroline kiss I will be pretty disappointed. I’ve always liked her and Tyler better. I don’t think the kiss would be very epic, though, if it was between Caroline and Matt/Tyler. Now, if it was between Katherine and Klaus, well, that would be pretty epic. But I don’t know, Katherine and Klaus? It just doesn’t seem..like it’ll happen. But you never know! Elena and Stefan? Hm…I don’t know. I’ve always been a Delena fan (well in the beginning I was Stelena but I Damon grew on me <3) so I really want the kiss to be between Damon and Elena. Come on, fans have been waiting for that forever! And, Ian did tweet twice about having to take his shirt off at work (; I'm sorry this is so long, just gotta express my feelings
You know, that is one of the hardest things to decide. Everything and anything Stefan has done for Elena is because of his love for her. Damon loves her just as much as Stefan but he does anything to save her no matter who dies. He doesn’t take Elena’s wishes into account when planning. Stefan is more considerate and passionate, Damon is just as equally caring and loving. Its kinda hard to actually decide. I am honestly a Stefan lover but Damon has much of the same but opposite qualities. Choices…
Seriously I can feel that both Elena and Damon have the same feeling to each other! So please make it happen please… And for Stefan, idk why but I think he’s match to Katherine! Katherine always love him eventhough Stefan already with Elena. But now Elena has Damon and Katherine with Stefan. What would be better than that?
Well, I do hope its Mr Damon Salvatore and Miss Elena Gilbert, but don’t think they will let them kiss so early, but I think its going to be Stefan and Katherine
I hope they do, but it is not going to be that fast.
I thibk damon and elena make a HORRIBLE couple and I’m sticking to stelena coz they look way better together and damon and katherine shud get it on and also matt and caroline seriously ? They are the 2nd worst couple next 2 damon and elena this should be the couples that will make evry1 happy ELENA and STEFAN.TYLER and CAROLINE.DAMON and KATHERINE yes this should make all TVD fans very happy Please JULIE PlEC stick 2 the original couples they are the best !!!!!!!!!!
Damon and Elena are not a horrible couple! They’re adorable! But maybe that’s just your opinion. True, something could easily happen between Stefan and Katherine; I know I thought that they were about to make out in the last episode when they were sitting together in the car. And it is a little too short for Damon and Elena to make out. Plus, they did say that “Damon has to think twice about acting on his feelings for Elena.” But I’m crossing my fingers, please make Damon and Elena hook up!

I think its Katherine and Stefan. Of course the writers not gna giv us what we want(Damon and Elana) Its more Interesting playing on Damons feelings for Elana. Will keep us coming back for more. Stefan and Elana getting old tho.

I dont think that elena & damon would kiss , i mean im sure he wants to & she looks like she wants to kiss him . butt she is definitely more in love with stefan then with damon . & damon knows that so hes gonna hold back cause he respects her feelings for stefan . i personally am a stelena fan . i do think that katherine and stefan will kiss though just cause hes a ripper and hes a bit more evil so hes kind of on katherines side . who knows we just have to wait and see .
